Pamela Pierre BIO
My interest in Calligraphy began since attending primary school when I was taught the cursive handwriting (known as Spencerian script) using a steel dip pen and ink to form beautiful letters. My first calligraphy class I attended in 1998, was Copperplate and the instructor, Beryl Anne Keene encouraged me to join the Northern Lights Calligraphy Club in Fort McMurray. I was enchanted with the art form and have learned and developed many calligraphy alphabets from local and visiting Calligraphers. My writings with graceful form and flourishing are displayed on greeting cards, certificates, posters and poetic pieces. Of late I have been given the opportunity to share my love of lettering at workshops, using a set of skills and techniques with pen and ink to inscribe words in various Calligraphy alphabets.
