Jenna Fewer Bio
Jenna began her dance training right here in Fort McMurray and is so proud to be sharing her passion with the young artists of our community. Jenna has had extensive training in many genres of dance over the past 17 years including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Contemporary. Her most recent love is choreographing. She has been choreographing competitively and non-competitively for four years. Being a choreographer allows her tell stories and to watch the hard work of her and her dancers really come to life. It truly is such a special way to express yourself. Over the years Jenna has won many awards at competitions across Canada for her dancing. At seventeen, Jenna moved to Vancouver, BC and danced with The Source Dance Company under the direction of Joanne and Alex Pesusich for two seasons. During this time she had the opportunity to work with some of North America’s top choreographers and perform in many shows including, “Stories From The West Side”, “Finding Wonderland”, “ IYI Dance Inspired”, “Under One Roof”, “ Van City Project” and “The Breakthrough Movement, NYC”. Most recently, Jenna had the pleasure of choreographing for Keyano Theatre’s Drama Force, in their production of “Peter Pan Jr.” Jenna is so happy to be a part of the UpTown! Dance family for another year.
