TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

AGE REQUIREMENTS:  The minimum age for the camp must be respected. 

-Ages 3-6: Student must be the minimum age of 3 by the start on classes on February 28th. Can only select one camp/dancer.

-Ages 6-10: Student must be the minimum age of 6 by the start of classes on February 28th.

*Registrations for students not of the proper age will be cancelled and subject to a $15.00 administration fee.

 

REFUND & CANCELLATION:  To receive a refund, notice of cancellation must be received by email at secpa@fmcsd.ab.ca no later than February 21, 2017.  An administration fee will be charged for all cancellations prior to February 21st ($5 for 3-5 camp & $15 to 6-10 camp).  There are no refunds after February 21, 2017.

 

DROP-OFF OF CHILDREN:  For safety reasons, parents/guardians must come in to sign in and sign out their children each day.  Students will not be released without being signed out first.  Any questions or concerns should be directed to secpa@fmcsd.ab.ca

 

HOURS OF OPERATION: 

-Ages 3-5: Camp starts promptly at 9:00am or 11:00am each day. Camp ends at 10:30am or 12:30pm.

-Ages 6-10: Camp starts promptly at 9:00am and ends at 12:30pm.

Physical warm-up is very important to ensure students do not injure themselves.  Please ensure your child is here on time so they are available for warm-ups.  Also, as our staff can not leave until all children are signed out at the end of the day, please ensure you are here promptly at the end of the camp day for your dancer.

 

APPROPRIATE DRESS:

-Ages 3-5: As movement is a large part of this camp, students need to wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing (no skirts or jeans, please) and bare feet.  No outside shoes are allowed in our dance studios. Please have your hair pulled back into a ponytail or a bun and if you have shor hair please pull it back in a headband.

-Ages 6-10: As movement is a large part of this camp, students need to wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing (no skirts or jeans, please), Jazz shoes and ballet slippers or bare feet (no need to purchase shoes specifically for camp). No outside shoes are allowed in our dance studios. Please have your hair pulled back into a ponytail or a bun and if you have short hair please pull it back in a headband.

 

SNACKS:  Students aged 6-10 will have 2-15 minute breaks and will be required to bring a peanut-free snack with them. 

-Both Camps: Each student should bring their own water bottle filled with water ONLY, labelled with their name.  

 

CHANGE ROOMS: The change rooms will be unlocked and available for you to use. When required, use the private stalls in the washroom for changing your child.
